The Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Challenge
Join Casa Myrna in the Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Challenge! The Allstate Foundation is contributing $500,000 to non-profit organizations across the country that support domestic violence survivors, with a focus on economic empowerment programs. Domestic violence and financial abuse often go hand in hand. The number one reason domestic violence survivors stay in or return to an abusive relationship is that they do not have the financial resources to break free. The Challenge runs from September 2 to October 3, and includes contests to encourage giving. Click here to visit Casa Myrna’s Purple Purse Challenge page and support our financial literacy program, SOAR (Stability, Opportunity, Achievements, Results).
Get Active for Casa Myrna
A special thank you to Qivana and to all those who participated in the Qivana for Casa Myrna Golf Tournament on September 9, 2014. Qivana and the golfers raised over $5,000 for Casa Myrna and invaluable awareness on the issue of domestic violence. Proceeds from this event supports our comprehensive services with survivors and our education activities.
