Casa Myrna Vazquez Appoints J. Scott Gannon
to Board of Directors

Casa Myrna Vazquez, New England’s most comprehensive provider of services to victims of domestic violence, has appointed J. Scott Gannon to its Board of Directors.

An accomplished 19-year veteran of the mortgage industry, Gannon is Vice President of Private Banking at The New York Mortgage Company, where he is involved in inner city development and larger condo developments. His responsibilities also include managing NYMC’s largest branch in the country, located in Newton, Massachusetts. He was previously Vice President of Mortgage Banking with Citizens Bank, overseeing the mortgage division for Citizens in the Massachusetts marketplace. A dedicated volunteer and fundraiser for a number of non-profits, Gannon is also a seasoned marathoner who has raised money for Dana Farber, Spinal Cord Injury and Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York. He is active in Our Lady’s Parish in Newton, where he lives with his wife Paula and two sons, Alexander, 17, and Luke, 2.
