Join the V-Day Movement

Love is in the air which means that V-Day is fast approaching. Founded by acclaimed feminist playwright Eve Ensler, V-Day traditionally has featured benefit performances of Ensler’s landmark Vagina Monologues at colleges and universities worldwide and now has grown to include Ensler’s A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer as well as screenings of the documentary Until the Violence Stops. Through annual V-Day campaigns in countries in 130 countries, V-Day strives to raise awareness about violence against women and girls and fundraise for organizations committed to this mission.

While many tend to associate V-Day with women, V-Day also includes men and boasts a special campaign called V-Men to mobilize males to actively stand up to violence against girls and women. CLICK HERE to read some male’s perspectives on this subject.
