Founded by acclaimed feminist playwright Eve Ensler, V-Day traditionally has featured benefit performances of Ensler’s landmark Vagina Monologues at colleges and universities worldwide and now has grown to include Ensler’s A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer as well as screenings of the documentary Until the Violence Stops. Through annual V-Day campaigns in countries in 130 countries, V-Day strives to raise awareness about violence against women and girls and fundraise for organizations committed to this mission.
